National Heritage Memorial Fund (NHMF)
Applications are open to The National Heritage Memorial Fund (NHMF) – Covid-19 Response Fund which is offering project grants to support any heritage asset that is: of outstanding importance to the national heritage; at risk due to the impact of Covid-19. Applications are welcomed from charities, not-for-profit organisations and public sector organisations. Examples of assets supported include works of fine and decorative art, museum collections, archives, manuscripts, items of industrial, transport and maritime heritage and historic buildings/land. There are no deadlines for applications. The fund will close at the end of April 2023. For more information on how to apply, see the website.

Pears of Youth Fund
Third sector youth organisations operating in the Leeds or Bradford Metropolitan District areas can receive support through the Pears of Youth Fund, administered by Leeds Community Foundation. The fund offers unrestricted funding to youth-focussed charities and groups that promote youth voices, who are experiencing difficulties operating as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. Applicants can either apply for a single grant to cover core costs or a partnership grant for two years to cover core costs and activity costs of partnerships promoting youth voice. The deadline for applications is is 12 Noon on Wednesday 21 July 2021.
National Lottery’s new £50 million partnership
The National Lottery Community Fund and The Ubele Initiative, on behalf of The Phoenix Way Partners, have today jointly announced a new £50 million partnership aimed to boost funding and support to Black and Minoritised Community charities and grassroots groups over the next five years. National Lottery Community Fund – Places Called Home
The National Lottery is partnering with IKEA to deliver Places Called Home, a £1.5 million fund aimed at continuing the community spirit and action we saw during the pandemic. The fund will open to applications today (Wednesday 30 June 2021) and will remain open for two weeks, or until 1,500 applications are received. Check the website for further information.
Poundland Foundation Grant
The Poundland Foundation supports organisations working to transform communities and change lives across the UK. Grants of up to £750 are available through the first grant window, Kits 4 Kids. This grant aims to support local sports clubs and organisations. Find out more about how to apply here.
The Santander Foundation Grants Programme
The Financial & Digital Empowerment Fund has been developed to help more people in the UK become digitally and financially empowered. The fund will support UK charities to give people the digital confidence, knowledge, and skills to enable them to make better, more informed decisions about money and have access to financial services. Santander are investing £1.8 million into the fund in 2021. 12 grants of up to to a total of £150,000 per organisation. Find out more about the fund here.
