The Asda Foundation – Bringing Communities Back Together grants
The Asda Foundation has launched phase 2 of its Bringing Communities Back Together grant scheme. Grants of up to £1,000 are available to grassroots community group towards a celebration event (such as a welcome back party), getting activities and services back on track, essential support (e.g. food banks/mental health groups) or a combination of the three. The deadline for applications is Monday 1 November 2021, however the scheme could close earlier if all of the funds are allocated. Applications must be submitted through an ASDA Community Champion. Sanctuary Community Investment Fund
Sanctuary’s Community Investment Fund is offering grants for community initiatives which make a difference to the lives of Sanctuary residents. The fund is prioritising projects and community groups that are responding directly to the challenges of Covid-19. Eligible groups include community and residents’ groups, registered charities, schools, voluntary groups, and other groups running initiatives in response to Covid-19. The Volant Trust grants
The Volant Trust are offering grants of up to £15,000 per annum to charities in the UK and internationally that demonstrate a strong focus on alleviating social deprivation and helping vulnerable groups who have been particularly impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. Applications for medical equipment and the production or distribution of PPE will also be considered. Applications are open till December 31st 2021.
