Paul Hamlyn Foundation
Paul Hamlyn Foundation’s Access and Participation Fund is offering grants of £30,000 to £400,000 for projects lasting between 12 months and 4 years. Grants are typically within £60,000 to £250,000 range. The fund aims to addresses inequalities of opportunity to access and participate in the arts that have become more apparent during the COVID-19 pandemic. According to its website, priority will be given to the following:
“organisations that are led by, and work that is developed and delivered with (including as artists and or practitioners), people who are most affected by systemic oppression or discrimination. This means Black, Asian and other groups who experience racism, Deaf, disabled and neurodiverse people who experience the effects of ableism, people who identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community, those who identify as sitting at the intersections of several minoritised identities, and people from economically marginalised communities or experiencing poverty.”
Priority will also be given to communities outside of London. This fund operates on a rolling basis, applications can be made at any time. For more information and to apply, visit the website.

Denman Charitable Trust – Reminder
Applications to the Denman Charitable Trust will soon be closing. The trust is making £100,000 available to small, charities local to Bristol, North East Somerset and South Gloucestershire, that are in danger of closing down to the COVID-19 pandemic. Priority will be given to organisations the trust has supported in the past. Applications close on the 22nd of March. Visit the website for more information on how to apply.
