The Resilience and Recovery Loan Fund
Social Investment Business and Access – The Foundation for Social Investment have announced an extra £4 million of grant funding to be used alongside The Resilience and Recovery Loan Fund to support charities and social enterprises working in England. The fund continues to be a loan programme, however grants may be awarded alongside a loan if it is clear that applicants would struggle to meet a viability threshold for a loan without a grant.
Wednesday 12 August
Social Enterprise Support Fund
Round two of the Social Enterprise Support Fund opens tomorrow (13 August). Grants of between £10,000 and £300,000 are available to social enterprises in England that are supporting people and communities affected by the pandemic or are experiencing financial difficulties as a result of the pandemic. The deadline for applications is 1pm on Thursday 20 August. Find out more and apply here.
Tuesday 11 August
Theatre Reopening Fund
Grants of up to £5,000 are available to not-for-profit theatres across the UK to help make Covid-19-related adaptions and prepare for re-opening. The fund will support building improvements and purchasing equipment that will support the theatre to open viably and safely. The scheme will run an a rolling basis throughout 2020. Monday 10 August
The Phoenix Fund
The £1m Phoenix Fund will support Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic charities and groups in England that are working in the heart of their communities during the COVID-19 pandemic. The fund will provide flexible core funding to organisations providing essential and emergency services, support, and education tailored to the BAME community. There are four short application windows with deadlines on 21 August, 2 September, 16 September and 13 October. Find out more and apply here.
