Hardship Fund for Creative Freelancers (Scotland)   

The Scottish Government’s £5 million Hardship Fund for Creative Freelancers and the Screen Scotland Hardship Fund(includes photographers)re-opens for applications at 12 moon Tuesday 10 NovemberThe Fund is designed to support creative freelancers working in the arts, creative and screen sectors who are experiencing immediate financial hardship due to the loss of income as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The fund is being administered by Creative Scotland. Bursaries can be requested for any sum between £500 and £2,000 although requests for specific access need can be more than this. Heritage Recovery Fund Northern Ireland

The new £5.5 million Heritage Recovery Fund launched earlier this week in Northern Ireland. It will fund both individuals and organisations who have been affected by Covid – 19 and are involved in the culture, language, arts and heritage sectors. Grants of £3,000 to £250,000 are available for organisations and grants of £3,000 or £5,000 are available for individuals working in the sector. Resilience and Recovery Loan Fund (RRLF) 

This fund is for UK social enterprises and charities with a minimum turnover of £400k who are experiencing disruption to their normal business model due to Covid – 19.  It has been established to make an existing government scheme (the Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme) more easily accessible to charities and social enterprises. The fund has already awarded £13 million to 35 organisations and has another £12 million still available. Armed Forces Covenant Fund: Force for Change Programme 

The Armed Forces Covenant Fund’s Force for Change programme has opened its second round of funding. Grants of up to £20,000 are available for local projects supporting Armed Force communities to become less isolated and engage more in their local area. The fund was designed to address the needs that have arisen as a result of the Covid -19 pandemic. The deadline for applications is noon on 30 November 2020. Find out more.

UK Community Foundations – Co-op grants

The Co-op has donated £1.5 million raised from the sale of its picnic range to the National Emergencies Trust. Grants of between £2,000 and £10,000 are available to charities and voluntary organisations for sustainable food poverty programmes. Visit the website of your local community foundation to apply.
