Monday 21 September
The deadline for applications to the COVID–19 Homelessness Response Fund (Round 2) has been extended to 28 September 2020. The fund is hosted by Homeless Link and supported by National Lottery funding. Homeless Link has £3.38 million of funding from The National Lottery Community Fund remaining to distribute to small and medium sized homelessness organisations based in England that have been directly affected by COVID-19. The deadline has also been extended for the Comic Relief stream of the fund which supports homelessness charities in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Find out more here.
Wednesday 23 September
The Alec Dickinson Trust’s latest round of funding aims to help young people to continue their voluntary efforts during the Coronavirus crisis pandemic. The Trust welcomes applications of up to £500 for UK-based volunteering or community service projects organised and run by people under 30 years old, which either directly or indirectly respond to COVID-19. Thursday 24 September
The Armed Forces Covenant Fund has launched the second round of its ‘Force for Change’ programme, which is designed to support local Armed Forces communities as they address the needs that have arisen as a result of the Coronavirus crisis. Grants of up to £20,000 are available for projects that help to reduce social isolation. Applications close at noon on 30 November. Find out more here.
Friday 25 September
The Childs Charitable Trust’s Emergency Funding programme will close on 30th September. Christian-based charitable organisations experiencing financial hardship as direct result of the pandemic are eligible for an emergency grant. To submit an application, please see the website here.
