In the news last week...The Charity Commission launches its Digital Code of Practice
In the news last week (besides from all the Brexit madness), the Charity Commission launched the final version of the Charity Digital Code of Practice, alongside a range of resources to help charities make better use of technology.
Charity Digital Code of Practice
The development of the code was funded by Lloyds Banking Group and the Co-op Foundation, and helps charities boost their digital skills. There is a separate version which is aimed at small charities and is divided into the following seven key principals:
1. Leadership
2. User led
3. Culture
4. Strategy
5. Skills
6. Managing risks and ethics
7. Adaptability
