The Ubele Initiative – Majonzi Fund
The Majonzi fund is offering grants of £500 for activities or events that commemorate the lives of members of the Black, Asian and Minoritised Ethnic (BAME) community which have been lost during the Covid-19 pandemic in the UK. Applications are welcome from community groups, organisations, BAME households, social entrepreneurs or artists. Activities can range from a memorial service to commissioning community artwork. Denman Charitable Trust (Bristol, North East Somerset and South Gloucestershire)
The trust is making £100,000 available to small, local charities in danger of closure due to the pandemic. Priority will be given to organisations the trust has supported in the past. Applications will close on Wednesday 30th March. Find application guidelines here.

Creative Scotland
At 2pm today (26th January) Creative Scotland will begin accepting applications to its £25 million COVID-19 Cancellation Fund for Cultural Organisations. The fund will support organisations that have experienced financial losses arising from having to cancel music, performing arts and other cultural events. Grants are for between £5,000 and £500,000. Sheffield City Council – Covid Recovery Fund 2022-23
A new round of Sheffield City Council’s recovery fund has opened to applications and will close on Monday 7th February 2022. Grants are for between £10,000 and £50,000 and can be used to cover shortfalls in 2021/22 budgets/core running costs or needs that can be demonstrated in 2022/23. Find out more here.

Fashion and Textile Children’s Trust
Grants for essential baby and children’s items are available to single parent families who have worked in the UK fashion and textile industry (whether it be in store, head office or distribution) and are struggling financially, due to redundancy, long-term furlough, reduced Universal Credit, etc. Find out more here.
