It’s not true that everything is uncertain. We know a lot about what will be happening in the future but above all else we know that we’ve got millions of people who depend on us every day. We also know that we can continue to rely on the support of the extremely generous British public, over 21 million of whom volunteer with us to make the country better.

Divided votes can divide nations. As charities we must make sure that we don’t allow politics to divide us. We must focus on our beneficiaries. We must lead by example and demonstrate compassion and understanding to those who think differently to us. That is what makes us special.
